Every civilization throughout history has wrestled with this question, and has come up with their own answers. But what if, instead of us trying to ascend to him, God came down to us? That's what Christmas is about, and that is the miracle of the incarnation--that God took on flesh and bones to become like us, so that he could reveal himself to us and save our broken world. Come explore why we don't just long for this message of Christmas to be true; we believe it is true, and it has changed us forever!
Events Happening This Christmas!
Christmas Candlelight Service: Dec 22nd @ 7pm
You’re invited to a special Christmas Candlelight Service on Friday, December 22nd at 7pm, at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Tampa near the Convention Center.
We’ll have some extra special Christmas worship music, hear a short Christmas message, and light candles to commemorate the season!
We will not have kids ministry; however, children are invited to join us in this family friendly service! Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and light desserts will be provided!
Advent Sundays: Dec 3rd, 10th, 17th, & 24th @ 10am
Advent means “arrival”, and the season of Advent is a time when we patiently wait and prepare our hearts for the miracle of Christmas.
Traditionally, Advent is the four Sundays before Christmas day, so this year Advent is December 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th (Christmas Eve).
Join us at 10am on these Sunday mornings at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Tampa near the Convention Center for Christmas worship, Christmas themed messages, and the lighting of the Advent Wreath!
Neighborhood Christmas Social: Dec 13th @ 7pm
On Wednesday, December 13th at 7pm, we’re hosting a Christmas social at Industrious Sparkman Wharf!
It will be a relaxed time to share desserts, drink tea and coffee, and connect with one another! We’ll also be collecting gifts and making up gift bags for disadvantaged members of our community during our time together.
We’d love for you to attend! You enter Industrious next to Shortwave Coffee (on the backside of Sparkman Wharf) and you can park in the Channelside garage across the street and we’ll validate your parking!
